Software Engineer, Platform at Speechify
Speechify is hiring a Software Engineer, Platform to join our Lodz, Poland team. This role focuses on building scalable platform services that power Speechify's product and delivering robust, high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain platform services and APIs.
- Scale systems to support growing user demand and data volumes.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features.
- Improve reliability, monitoring, and deployment processes.
- Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and database design (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes; cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with platform engineering or developer experience tooling.

Lodz, Poland (onsite)
