Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for Platform in Juiz de Fora, Brazil to help design, build, and scale the core platform that powers Speechify’s listening experiences for millions of users. You will contribute to backend services, data pipelines, and API layers that drive reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable platform services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Infrastructure to deliver reliable features.
- Improve observability, performance, and security of platform components.
- Write tests, review code, and participate in CI/CD processes.
- Document architectures and share best practices with the team.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building backend systems.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to work on-site in Juiz de Fora, Brazil and collaborate with a global team.
