Job Description
Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join our team in Incheon, South Korea. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable platform services and developer tooling that power Speechify's products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate platform services and APIs that support Speechify's products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define robust, scalable architecture.
- Improve reliability, performance, and observability of core platform components.
- Develop tooling to enhance developer experience and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience (Platform/Backend).
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Python or Go (or similar languages).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL), and caching (Redis).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
