Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join our team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This role focuses on building scalable platform services that power Speechify's products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core platform services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver robust features.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
- Write tests and maintain documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with modern backend development.
- Experience with AWS and containerization (Kubernetes or Docker).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and databases (PostgreSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Distributed systems, messaging queues, and microservices experience.
