Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, Platform, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and tooling that enable product teams to ship features quickly, reliably, and at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain platform services and internal APIs
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Contribute to architecture decisions and participate in code reviews
- Write tests and participate in on-call rotation
- Mentor junior engineers as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong backend engineering skills with exposure to distributed systems
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data pipelines, analytics, or streaming
- Experience with CI/CD and development best practices
