Overview
Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to help build and scale our core platform from Colombo, Sri Lanka. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain services that power our reading and text-to-speech products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to ensure API reliability
- Write tests, perform code reviews, and improve performance
- Contribute to architectural decisions and platform improvements
- Ensure security, monitoring, and reliability of services
Qualifications
- Proficiency in modern backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
