Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product to join our team in Yokohama, Japan. You will design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS apps, collaborate with product and design teams, and ship features that power speech and reading experiences for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to plan and implement features
- Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation
- Investigate performance issues and optimize the user experience
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to product strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience as an iOS engineer with a track record of shipping features
- Strong Swift expertise and familiarity with UIKit/SwiftUI
- Experience with RESTful APIs, networking, and data persistence
- Familiarity with Xcode, CI/CD, and test automation
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Based in or willing to relocate to Yokohama, Japan
