Overview
Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product to join our Yangon, Myanmar team. In this role you will contribute to the core iOS app, collaborate with cross functional teams, and help deliver high quality features to users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS features using Swift and related technologies
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to implement robust solutions
- Write tests, review code, and contribute to CI/CD processes
- Optimize performance, battery life, and app stability across devices
- Participate in planning design reviews and problem solving sessions
Qualifications
- Experience with iOS development using Swift (Objective-C is a plus)
- Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as UIKit and SwiftUI, Core Data, networking
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling offline data
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in Yangon, Myanmar or be willing to relocate
