Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product to join our team in San Francisco, USA and help build the core iOS experience powering Speechify's mobile product.

Role Overview

Join our engineering team as a Software Engineer specializing in iOS core product features. You’ll design, implement, test, and ship high-quality iOS functionality, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of Speechify’s mobile experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and ship high-quality iOS features for the core product.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver delightful user experiences.
• Own features end-to-end from concept to production, including monitoring and metrics.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of iOS applications.
• Stay up-to-date with iOS platform developments and contribute to architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift (or Objective-C).
• Strong knowledge of UIKit and SwiftUI, Core Data, and networking (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with modern architectures (MVVM, VIPER).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and App Store submission.
• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with audio features and media playback.
• Knowledge of accessibility and localization.
