About Speechify

Speechify is a leading text-to-speech app that helps millions of people read and learn by turning text into natural-sounding audio. We’re looking for passionate engineers to strengthen our iOS core product in Oulu, Finland.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain features for the iOS core product using Swift
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Write clean, well-tested code and documentation; participate in code reviews
• Improve performance, accessibility, and reliability of the iOS app
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape the direction of the mobile platform
• Support deployment and monitoring, and contribute to CI/CD and automated testing efforts

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit; solid knowledge of Xcode
• Experience with Auto Layout, memory management, and network integration via REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD, testing)
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have

• SwiftUI, Combine, or modern architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER)
• Experience with app submission and App Store processes
