Speechify is a leading voice and reading technology company focused on delivering high-quality text-to-speech experiences. We are hiring a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product in Munich, Germany to join our mobile team.

The Role

As a Software Engineer for the iOS Core Product, you will design, implement, and maintain features for our iOS application used by thousands of readers. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship polished user experiences and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into delightful UI/UX.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, authentication and push notifications.
• Focus on performance, memory management and energy efficiency.
• Write unit and UI tests; participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code, contribute to documentation, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Swift; experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience with Core Data, networking, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with concurrency and async/await.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Fastlane).
• Experience with testing (XCTest) and profiling tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
