Software Engineer, iOS Core Product - Lodz, Poland

Job Description

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for the iOS Core Product to join our team in Lodz, Poland. You will contribute to the core iOS app, focusing on performance, reliability, and delivering a delightful user experience for our readers around the world.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for the iOS Core Product using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to implement user‑facing features
• Write clean, well‑tested code and contribute to unit/integration tests
• Improve app performance, memory usage, and overall reliability
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to shape the product
• Assist with shipping releases and post‑release monitoring

Requirements

• 3+ years of iOS development experience
• Proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Experience with Xcode, CI/CD, and test automation
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous networking
• Knowledge of MVVM or similar architecture patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice‑to‑have

• Experience with Core Data, Push Notifications, or accessibility features
