Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product to join our team in Katowice, Poland. In this role you will build and maintain features for our core iOS app, collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers, and help deliver a polished mobile experience for users around the world. You will contribute to high-quality, maintainable code, performance optimization, and a reliable release process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS features for Speechify's core product
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery life
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Troubleshoot and fix defects in a timely manner
Qualifications
- 2+ years of iOS development with Swift
- Strong knowledge of UIKit, AutoLayout, and networking (URLSession)
- Experience with MVVM/MVC patterns and writing testable code
- Familiarity with Git and agile development processes
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team
