Software Engineer, iOS Core Product - Jakarta, Indonesia

Overview

Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will help build and maintain the core iOS product that powers Speechify's reading experience, collaborating with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile software.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain iOS core product features using Swift
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and startup time for a smooth user experience
• Implement accessibility and localization considerations
• Contribute to architectural decisions and testing strategies

Who you are

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Proficiency in Swift; experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data persistence (Core Data or Realm), and offline caching
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
