Software Engineer, iOS Core Product - Incheon, South Korea

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for iOS Core Product to join our team in Incheon, South Korea. In this role, you will build and maintain high-quality iOS applications that power Speechify's core product, collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers, and contribute to a fast, accessible, and reliable mobile experience for users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS apps for Speechify's core product using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to implement features from concept to delivery.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code; participate in code reviews.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery life; ensure accessibility and localization.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the iOS platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift; experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and network communication (REST/GraphQL).
• Familiarity with testing (XCTest), CI/CD, and debugging.
• Experience releasing apps to the App Store; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, MVVM or similar architectures.
• Familiarity with analytics, user feedback, and performance monitoring.
