Role overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the iOS Core Product team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will design, implement, and maintain features that power Speechify’s iOS app, collaborating with product, design, and backend engineers to ship high-quality software for our users.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust iOS features using Swift (UIKit and/or SwiftUI).
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into delightful UI.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and maintain documentation.
• Ensure app stability across iOS versions and devices; support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and strong knowledge of UIKit; SwiftUI experience is a plus.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with Xcode, version control (Git), and modern testing strategies (unit/UI tests).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Core Data, AVFoundation, or audio/text-to-speech features.
• Familiarity with accessibility considerations and performance profiling.
