Job Overview
Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join our iOS Core Product team in Busan, South Korea. In this on-site role, you will build and maintain the core iOS applications that power Speechify's reading experience for millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and ship high-quality iOS features in Swift and/or Objective-C
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver polished experiences
- Improve app performance, reliability, accessibility, and battery life
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing
- Contribute to the architecture of core product modules
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional iOS development experience
- Proficient in Swift and knowledge of Objective-C
- Experience with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Core Data
- Familiar with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with unit tests/UI tests and continuous integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
