Role: Software Engineer, iOS Core Product

Location: Boston, USA (on-site). You will design, implement, and maintain features for Speechify’s iOS app, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver a fast, reliable reading experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship features for the iOS app using Swift
• Write clean, maintainable code and comprehensive tests
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to define user-friendly experiences
• Improve app performance, memory management, and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS frameworks (UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, concurrency, and modern development practices
• Familiarity with testing, CI/CD, and debugging on iOS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
