About Speechify
Speechify is a fast-growing technology company that builds accessible text-to-speech tools for people who want to read and learn more efficiently. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the iOS Core Product team in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to help build and refine features for the Speechify iOS app.
Role overview
As a Software Engineer on the iOS Core Product team, you will design, implement and ship high-quality features for the Speechify iOS app, collaborating with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver a best-in-class experience and improve performance and reliability.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product requirements
- Improve app performance, accessibility, and battery life
- Write tests, review code, and participate in CI/CD processes
- Contribute to release planning and platform improvements
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong proficiency in Swift, with experience using SwiftUI and UIKit
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and networking in mobile apps
- Familiarity with Core Data and local storage patterns
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
