Speechify is hiring a Software Engineer for its iOS Core Product based in Austin, USA. You will contribute to the native iOS app that powers Speechify's core reading experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features for the iOS core product.
- Collaborate with product design, backend engineers, and QA to ship high-quality features.
- Optimize performance and startup time.
- Integrate with backend APIs and ensure robust networking.
- Write unit and UI tests; participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and coding standards.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Swift and iOS development.
- Proficiency with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Experience with MVVM or similar architecture, URLSession, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with testing (XCTest) and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-growing team.
