Job Overview

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Data Infrastructure & Acquisition in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will help build and maintain data pipelines, data infrastructure, and data acquisition systems that power Speechify products and insights.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and delivery of data used by Speechify products
• Build and scale robust data infrastructure for analytics, experimentation, and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define data models, quality checks, and data accessibility
• Monitor performance, reliability, and data quality; optimize ETL/ELT processes and data workflows
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and advocate for best practices
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance in data handling

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data systems
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
