About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data acquisition systems that power analytics, ML models, and product features. You will collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to ensure reliable data delivery, quality, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines for multiple data sources
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data storage strategies
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability across data platforms
• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to meet data needs and timelines
• Monitor performance and scale data infrastructure to support growing workloads

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with a focus on data infrastructure
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data ingestion
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and data storage technologies
• Analytical mindset with attention to data quality and governance
