Role Overview

Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition in Niterói, Brazil. You will design and implement robust data ingestion pipelines and data infrastructure to support Speechify’s data-driven features. You will collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to acquire, validate, and serve high-quality data for product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines and data infrastructure
• Build data quality checks, monitoring, and data provenance tooling
• Collaborate with data science, analytics, and platform teams to enable reliable data flows
• Work with cloud environments and DevOps practices to ensure reliability and performance

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with data pipelines/ETL, data ingestion, and data quality
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Nice-to-have: Spark or other data processing frameworks, data lakes, Docker/Kubernetes
