Job Description
Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition in Melbourne, Australia to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion systems that power our analytics and products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to meet data needs.
- Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Develop data quality checks and monitoring.
- Build tooling to acquire and integrate external and internal data sources.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software or data engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Familiarity with data warehousing and distributed processing (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Spark).
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
