Overview

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition to design and implement scalable data pipelines and ingestion systems that power Speechify's data-driven features. This on-site role is based in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage
• Develop data acquisition workflows, ensure data quality, lineage, and observability
• Collaborate with data science, analytics, and platform teams to support experiments and product features
• Contribute to data modeling and data warehousing strategies
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliable CI/CD for data infrastructure

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and modern development practices
