Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition - Dhaka, Bangladesh

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and scale data infrastructure and data acquisition capabilities in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions that empower product analytics and growth initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and operate data ingestion pipelines and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Platform teams to define data models and governance.
• Implement reliable ETL/ELT processes, monitoring, and data quality checks.
• Optimize data storage, performance, and cost across cloud environments.
• Write clean, maintainable code (Python/SQL preferred) and review teammates' work.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with data processing frameworks (Airflow, Spark, dbt) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
