Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition, you will design, build, and operate scalable data infrastructure and ingestion pipelines that enable data-driven features and analytics across the product.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes to ingest data from internal and external sources
\n
• Collaborate with data scientists and product engineers to ensure data quality, reliability, and governance
\n
• Build scalable storage and processing solutions for large-scale data using cloud-based tools
\n
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for data flows
\n
• Contribute to data modeling, schema design, and data cataloging
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a focus on data infrastructure
\n
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
\n
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing concepts, and data quality best practices
\n
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
\n
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Experience with streaming data and real-time processing
\n
• Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake/Redshift, or other data processing frameworks
\n
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and production-grade software engineering
\n
