About Speechify
Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure & Acquisition in Osaka, Japan to help design and build robust data pipelines and infrastructure that power product features and analytics.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, storage, and processing from multiple sources
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate requirements into scalable data architectures
- Improve data quality, reliability, and performance; implement monitoring and observability
- Own data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse schemas
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance in data handling
What we're looking for
- Experience with data engineering and data infrastructure in production environments
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with data warehouses and ETL or ELT frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
