Senior Software Engineer, AI Model serving at Speechify
Speechify is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and operate AI model serving infrastructure in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. This role focuses on designing scalable systems that host and serve AI models in production, collaborating with ML researchers to productionize models, and delivering reliable APIs.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and operate scalable AI model serving systems
- Collaborate with ML researchers to productionize models
- Build reliable APIs and services, ensuring observability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with AI model serving and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Portuguese language proficiency is a plus
