Senior Software Engineer, AI Model serving - Hsinchu, Taiwan

Role Overview

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Model Serving to join our team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This role focuses on building scalable AI model serving infrastructure to deploy and serve machine learning models with low latency in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable AI model serving systems.
• Optimize latency and throughput for serving models at scale.
• Collaborate with ML researchers and engineers to deploy new models.
• Build monitoring, logging, and alerting for production services.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (preferably in AI/ML or systems).
• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with ML model deployment frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and high-availability services.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
