Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and operate AI model serving infrastructure in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will collaborate with ML researchers and backend engineers to deploy scalable, low-latency inference services, monitor performance, and ensure reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AI model serving infrastructure and APIs.
- Deploy, version, and monitor ML models for production inference with strong observability.
- Collaborate with ML researchers to optimize model performance and latency.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment processes for AI workloads.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with AI model serving, inference systems, and ML frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one other language (Go/Java/Node.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
