We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Model Serving team in Dnipro, Ukraine, to help scale our AI inference infrastructure and deliver reliable, high-performance services to users worldwide.

About the Role

You will design, build, and maintain scalable AI model serving systems that power Speechify's intelligence features. You will work closely with ML researchers, data scientists, and product teams to deploy production-grade models, optimize latency, ensure observability, and drive the reliability of critical services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI model serving infrastructure and microservices
• Optimize model inference latency and throughput in production
• Build and maintain robust APIs (REST/gRPC) for model access
• Collaborate with ML researchers to productionize new models
• Ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with 5+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with AI model serving (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) in production
• Proficiency in Python and building scalable services
• Experience with container orchestration and cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience developing APIs (REST and/or gRPC)
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent collaboration abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with ML Ops, monitoring/observability tooling, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with cloud providers and distributed systems design
