Overview

Speechify is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual) for iOS to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile app. This on-site role is based in Salt Lake City, USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of the iOS app for new features and bug fixes.
• Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases.
• Log defects with clear steps to reproduce and collaborate with engineers to reproduce and fix.
• Work with product, design and engineering teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
• Conduct regression testing prior to releases and verify bug fixes.
• Contribute to quality metrics and help improve QA processes.

Requirements

• Experience with manual QA for mobile apps, preferably iOS.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, etc.)
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Swift or Objective-C is a plus but not required.

Nice to have

• Interest in automation testing or automation experience.
