Role Overview

As an Applied AI Engineer & Researcher, you will conduct applied research, build prototypes of AI models for speech and natural language processing, and collaborate with product and data teams to ship features that improve user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied AI research and develop models for speech, NLP, and related tasks.
• Prototype, evaluate, and iterate algorithms; run experiments and validate improvements with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to ship features end-to-end.
• Optimize models for production, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong background in machine learning, NLP, and speech technologies.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with experimentation, data analysis, and model evaluation.
• PhD or MS in CS/ML or a related field; publications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
