Speech Language Pathologist, Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, or swallowing issues.
• Develop treatment plans based on evaluation and physician orders.
• Revise care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Document observations and care with a touchpad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• A current Maryland license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent certification.
• Equivalent education/experience for certification eligibility; ready to take the ASHA exam.
• Currently pursuing supervised experience for certification.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
