Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health Visits

📋 Description

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations to diagnose and provide therapy for speech, language, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop a treatment plan based on evaluation, physician orders, and goals.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan with BAYADA clinicians in the multidisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch-pad tablet.

🎯 Requirements

• A current Maryland license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA (CCC-SLP), or equivalent credentials.
• Eligibility to take ASHA exam or certification as applicable.
• Completion of required education and supervised experience toward certification.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMR preferred.
