Lead development of new plastic injection tooling to meet performance and cosmetic requirements
Collaborate on material selection, design feasibility, and aesthetics of tooling
Research and identify new materials, technologies, and finish options
Estimate prototype and production costs for tooling, secondary assembly, and finishing
Participate in supplier audits and final supplier selection
Write prototype/development tooling RFQs

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials engineering or related field
5+ years direct hands-on injection mold design and/or construction
10+ years direct hands-on injection mold design and/or construction
Siemens NX (NX 2306) proficiency and Moldflow experience; LSR molding knowledge
Detailed understanding of plastics molding variables and impact on throughput
Willingness to travel ~50%, including international assignments
