HVAC Technician (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment: air handlers, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, boilers.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for building HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with engineering/managers to keep systems in peak condition.
• Follow SpaceX regulations and safety policies (OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, NEC).
• Perform ductwork modifications and repairs; brazing/soldering of refrigerants.
• Support water piping and insulation modifications; assist with compressed air and doors.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; EPA 608 Universal certificate.
• 3+ years HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems experience.
• Associate degree in HVAC technology (preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical safety, pneumatics, piping, and rotating machinery.
• Knowledge of high/flammable gases, refrigeration gases; HEPA/AHU filtration experience.
• VFD maintenance; BMS operation; ability to work shifts and in confined spaces.
