Spacecraft Engineer - Office of the CTO

📋 Description

• Lead GEO spacecraft system architecture (payload, propulsion, links).
• Identify and rapidly solve cross-functional issues across lifecycle.
• Define and manage interfaces (mechanical, electrical, thermal, data) between subsystems.
• Own budgets, especially mass and power budgets.
• Provide status/forecasts to leadership via budget tracking.
• Guide subsystem engineers to meet system criteria and budgets.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
• 3 to 10 years in integrated system design, integration, and/or test.
• Hands-on engineer or technical domain expert; junior and senior engineers welcomed.
• Track record of solving hard problems independently.
• Ability to lead outside of the traditional reporting chain.
• Proven experience in managing complex technical budgets (mass, power) and enforcing design discipline.
