- Lead GEO spacecraft system architecture (payload, propulsion, links).
- Identify and rapidly solve cross-functional issues across lifecycle.
- Define and manage interfaces (mechanical, electrical, thermal, data) between subsystems.
- Own budgets, especially mass and power budgets.
- Provide status/forecasts to leadership via budget tracking.
- Guide subsystem engineers to meet system criteria and budgets.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
- 3 to 10 years in integrated system design, integration, and/or test.
- Hands-on engineer or technical domain expert; junior and senior engineers welcomed.
- Track record of solving hard problems independently.
- Ability to lead outside of the traditional reporting chain.
- Proven experience in managing complex technical budgets (mass, power) and enforcing design discipline.
