📋 Description

• Design, analyze, and validate free-space optical systems.
• Develop laser communications terminals for Starlink satellites.
• Lead optical architecture definition through trade studies and tests.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure producible designs.

• Support field testing and data review for reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or related STEM.
• 2+ years hands-on optics, photonics, laser tech, or precision design/testing.
• 1+ year programming in C++, MATLAB, or Python.
• Proficiency with Zemax and optical analysis tools.
• Experience in free-space optical design, testing, and alignment.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced, autonomous environments.
