Sourcing Manager, Mechanical (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Work with suppliers to develop sourcing and cost strategies for existing and new products
• Act as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Manage costs to meet project budgets and forecasts
• Develop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis
• Ensure suppliers support prototypes and ramp to mass production
• Drive process improvements to reduce costs and boost supplier performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain
• Experience with mechanical and/or special process manufacturers and suppliers
• Experience managing outsourcing contract manufacturing partners
• Proven NPI sourcing strategy development and execution in fast-paced env
• Technical procurement and negotiation with electronics and mechanical contract manufacturers
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Willingness to travel for short and extended trips
• Onsite in Hawthorne, CA; remote work not considered
