- Develop and manage supply base for Starlink solar and battery systems, terminals and ground stations.
- Provide weekly status reporting and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Train and mentor the team to continuously improve performance.
- Collaborate with key suppliers to develop sourcing and cost strategies for existing platforms and new products.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support capital purchases and production consumables.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for cost, space, and process optimization; drive value through negotiations.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, planning, or supply chain; or 9+ years.
- Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing global suppliers.
- Experience sourcing from a global supply base and interfacing with suppliers worldwide.
- Experience in solar and/or battery field.
- Strong written and verbal communications across all levels.
- Travel up to 30% (incl. international); onsite in Bastrop, TX; extended hours as needed.
