Sourcing Director - Lighting

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive lighting sourcing strategy across Asia.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to expand capacity and mitigate risk.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and industry trend monitoring.
• Negotiate major sourcing agreements and terms with Asian suppliers.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives via negotiation and value engineering.
• Onboard manufacturing partners to Quince's D2C model and rapid replenishment.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in director-level strategic sourcing or procurement at major US retailers.
• Deep factory connections within the Lighting category.
• Product-focused with ability to cost engineer and bring products to market.
• GM mindset with supply chain background and lean/JIT experience.
• Strong cost understanding; drive cost savings via clean sheets and negotiation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
