📋 Description

• Develop and execute a sourcing strategy for all lighting categories across Asia.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to expand capacity and drive innovation.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and trend monitoring to stay competitive.
• Lead major sourcing negotiations, pricing contracts, and terms with Asian suppliers.
• Drive cost-reduction through strategic negotiation, value engineering, and optimization.
• Onboard new manufacturing partners to the D2C model and coach on rapid replenishment.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in director-level Strategic Sourcing or Procurement with major US retailers.
• Extensive Lighting supplier network and factory connections.
• Product-focused with experience designing, cost engineering, and market introduction.
• GM mindset with supply chain background and lean/JIT manufacturing.
• Strong cost understanding; ability to drive savings via clean sheets and tactics.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical; execution-focused.
• Continuous learner, curious, and adaptable to change.
• Business-savvy; comfortable leveraging technology and AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
