Sourcing Director, Dress & Skirt

📋 Description

• Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain and sourcing strategy for Dress & Skirts across fabrics, ensuring resilience.
• Onboard new manufacturing partners for D2C and coach on rapid replenishment in a Manufacturer-to-Consumer (M2C) model.
• Educate partners on the Quince Operating System (OS) with focus on Operational Excellence, Financial Model and Vendor Portal integration.
• Drive continuous improvement to KPIs: defect rate, replenishment lead time, in-stock rate and ROIC.
• Lead catalog expansion with Merchandising and Product Development, launching new styles/colors via NPC.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with partner management to ensure strategic alignment and future objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in director-level Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supplier Management with major US retailers.
• Global partner factory connections in Dress & Skirts across fabrics (woven, knit, sweater knit) including APAC, IST and EMEA regions.
• Experience designing, cost engineering and bringing products to market with regional material knowledge.
• GM mindset with supply chain and lean/JIT manufacturing experience.
• Deep understanding of cost and ability to drive cost savings via clean sheets and negotiation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with execution focus.
• Continuous learner, curious and proactive when facing challenges.
• Business savvy and comfortable with technology/AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
