Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Work with sales as the technical domain expert to show Okta’s value.
• Demonstrate solutions to align with customer needs and challenges.
• Answer product and technical questions from customers, partners, and colleagues.
• Plan and deliver proofs of concept for complex use cases with other teams.
• Provide feedback to product management for enhancements.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with other Solutions Engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience selling SaaS.
• Customer-focused with customer-facing pre-sales experience.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly, even on the fly.
• Experience with OAuth, OAuth2, SAML or LDAP.
• Hands-on web (JavaScript/HTML), mobile (iOS/Android) and backend (Node.js, Java, Python) dev.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, MIS or comparable field preferred.
