Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Become an expert on Loop’s platform, integrations, carriers, 3PL, OMS, WMS, tax rules.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Onboarding, and Partners across UK/EU/APAC time zones.
• Vet and close deals from a technical requirements view with Sales, partners, and agencies in EMEA/APAC.
• Create customised demos and POCs, incl cross-border returns, multi-currency, VAT/IOSS.
• Become an SME on APIs, webhooks, integrations, and front-end customisations (headless, Shopify).
• Partner with merchants/agencies to scope solutions, incl returns UX and back-end logistics.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in B2B pre-sales solutions engineering, sales, or consulting with UK/EU/APAC exposure.
• Experience in SaaS, ecommerce, or Salesforce ecosystems (preferred).
• Hands-on logistics experience with 3PL and warehouse systems; knowledge of receiving workflows and labeling.
• Strong integrations across commerce stacks; Shopify/Shopify Plus; headless/composable; ERP (NetSuite, SAP); tax engines (Avalara, Vertex).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of web components, APIs, webhooks, servers; explain flows to non-tech audiences.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; advise on UI customisations.
• Excellent communication; adaptable to audiences.
