📋 Description

• Partner with Account Executives to position Mapbox’s technical value.
• Lead technical discovery to understand goals, requirements, and success criteria.
• Design scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs, APIs, and services.
• Build and deliver PoC solutions that show measurable customer value.
• Apply GIS, spatial data, and location intelligence to solve problems.
• Advocate for customer needs and influence product direction with feedback.
• Stay current on mapping, mobility, and AI; share best practices.
• Support customers in logistics, telecom, weather, and more.
• Deliver rapid enablement through workshops, demos, and PoC/PoV.
• Drive customer success by accelerating value and adoption in a complex ecosystem.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, customer-facing engineering, or consulting.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial data experience.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable architectures.
• Strong business acumen; autonomous across distributed teams.
• Experience responding to RFQs/RFIs with clear technical docs and proposals.
• Experience supporting high-volume digital customers and rapid context-switching.
• Web/mobile tech: JavaScript required; Swift/Kotlin/Python desirable; RN/Flutter nice.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; certifications a plus.
• Back-end APIs and front-end SDKs in geospatial/mobility domains.
• Excellent communication with technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings.
