Solutions Architect, Financial Services

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and proofs of value for commercial financial services customers across the full software lifecycle.
• Own technical evaluations (POCs/POVs), workshop design, and support for tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales to shape account strategies for new logos and expansion in North America time zones.
• Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business stakeholders to drive digital transformation and GitLab advocacy.
• Advise on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices in the context of FS risk and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in technical pre-sales/consulting guiding solution design and evaluation.
• Proficiency with end-to-end SDLC, modern DevSecOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms; map capabilities to FS use cases.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and deployment/security/ops options.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations (POCs/POVs), contribute to tenders or audits, and design/run workshops/value stream assessments.
• Clear technical communication for practitioners to senior decision makers across North American time zones.
