Solution Architect

📋 Description

• Design, deliver, and actively participate in integration solutions for new projects and systems.
• Work hands-on with IT engineering teams to ensure integration solutions are implemented as designed, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Define and govern integration architectures across multiple business domains, ensuring interoperability between legacy and modern platforms.
• Apply best practices in cloud integration (AWS), APIs, microservices, event-driven and batch processing, security, and data management.
• Lead and facilitate technical workshops with architects, engineering, data, security, and business stakeholders, challenging requirements and proposing pragmatic, cost-effective solutions.
• Design, maintain, and update integration and architecture artefacts such as interface specifications, design documents, sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Solution Architect, Integration Architect, System Integration Specialist, or similar role.
• Demonstrable experience producing integration design artefacts (interface specifications, architecture and design documents, data flow diagrams, security models).
• Strong experience working within architecture or integration governance frameworks, including presenting designs to Architecture or Integration Boards.
• Solid knowledge of cloud and integration technologies, including AWS, APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging and event-driven architectures, batch processing, and microservices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset, with a hands-on approach to supporting engineering teams.
